Growing in Christ
Adult Programs

Men’s Fellowship

Our Men’s Fellowship gathers for breakfast, study, fellowship and prayer the second Saturday morning, 8 a.m., Youth Kitchen, of each month. Men are gathered into small prayer and discussion groups each week. We also have a community-wide Lenten Service the Saturday before Palm Sunday each year.

Deacons

The Board of Deacons are commissioned to show “care, witness and sympathy” to all people. Deacons organize the ushers in worship, assist with funerals and memorial services and call upon people in the hospital, convalescing or after a new baby is born. People are “not forgotten” and cared for by our active Deacons.

Adult Discipleship Classes

Whether a Bible or topical study, all adults can continue their lifelong learning about the Christian faith, growing in discipleship and understanding many important issues in our world. Therefore we offer a host of classes, 4-5 days of each week, Sunday – Friday in which adults gather for study, fellowship and prayer. Contact: Rev. Steve Gorman at 661-6846, x 103 or steve@wfpc.org

Presbyterian Women

Working together on spiritually motivated projects provides great opportunities for female bonding. Friendships are formed and fostered as we pray together and share laughter as well as concerns.

Circle

There are five Circles which meet monthly, and general gatherings are held bi-monthly, September through June. Most are at 11:45 a.m. in the dining room and include a nominally priced lunch. One gathering is a spring brunch. Following a short business meeting, a program is presented.

For more information, contact the church office.

A Capellas

Acapellas meets following the 10:00 worship service on the first Sunday of each month. Women who are single, widowed or divorced, these gals love to go out "unaccompanied" for fellowship, eating together at local restaurants on a monthly basis. Contact the Church office for information regarding plans for next month's location.
